October 10 through 12, you’ll get the opportunity to understand Tucson’s varied cultural history at the Tucson Meet Yourself Festival. Founded in 1974 by University of Arizona anthropologist Dr. James Griffith, the festival’s goal is to display the city’s diverse folk and ethnic heritage with live performances, cultural demonstrations, food vendors and crafts. The family friendly event features 53 different cultural food options, 63 history exhibitors, 60 different cultural groups and 557 members of the artistic community, from musicians to crafters to storytellers to dancers.
Once you’ve gotten a feel for our amazing history, it’s time to get a feel for our golf courses. Book a vacation with Tucson and Scottsdale Golf Vacations for the chance to play three rounds of golf on premier Southern Arizona courses. Our packages, in Tucson and Scottsdale, are customizable, so you can tailor your trip to the type of golf you prefer.
